Intimate Family Wedding at Wine Dark Sea Villa Near Ierapetra
Kerri and Joseph chose Wine Dark Sea Villa near Ierapetra for a small, intimate wedding in the circle of their closest family. The villa’s stone architecture, spacious terraces and endless views of the sea created a natural, cinematic backdrop, so the atmosphere felt more like a relaxed holiday at a private estate than a formal hotel event. The Cretan light, the sound of the waves and the quiet location on the south coast of Crete added a warm, romantic mood to every moment of the day.
I was there to photograph and film their celebration, from the preparations inside the villa to the outdoor ceremony and the evening by the pool. My focus was on genuine emotions and documentary‑style storytelling: the way they looked at each other, the reactions of their families, and all the small details that made this day personal and unique.
