Intimate Family Wedding on the Shores of Crete: Indrė & Aivaras

Some weddings don’t need a large guest list, grand decorations, or a crowded celebration. Sometimes all that truly matters is the love between two people and the family they have already created.

Indrė and Aivaras chose to celebrate their wedding in the most intimate way imaginable on the beautiful shoreline of Malia, Crete. Present were only the bride and groom, their adorable little daughter, the celebrant who guided them through their vows, and me as their photographer.

Standing on the seashore with the gentle waves just a few steps away and the warm Mediterranean breeze surrounding them, they exchanged heartfelt promises and officially became husband and wife. Their daughter was not just a witness to the ceremony but an important part of this unforgettable moment, making the day even more meaningful.

As a photographer, I especially love weddings like this. They allow every emotion to shine naturally—every smile, every embrace, every glance is genuine and unhurried. There is nothing distracting from what truly matters: two people celebrating their love with the little family they cherish most.
