Capturing Forever: A Secret Proposal Overlooking Georgioupoli’s Sea Chapel

There are few views on Crete as captivating as looking out toward the iconic whitewashed chapel of Agios Nikolaos standing out in the sea at Georgioupoli. When Ross reached out with his plan to propose to Ali on the beach with this gorgeous seascape backdrop, I knew it was going to be something truly special.

My mission was simple: capture every raw emotion while remaining completely discreet. Blending into the surroundings with my camera and drone, I was ready to document the moment as it naturally unfolded.

As they strolled along the shore with the tranquil waves and the picturesque chapel framing the background, Ross got down on one knee. From a distance, my telephoto lens captured every genuine expression—the surprise, the laughter, and the happy tears—while the drone swept overhead to capture the full beauty of the Cretan coastline.

And the best part? She said YES!
