Tom and Julia were a beautiful couple I had the pleasure of photographing near Rethymno, Crete. We met by the coast just outside the city and spent the evening creating a relaxed and natural Love Story session by the sea.

As the sun slowly moved toward the horizon, the light became softer and warmer, creating the perfect atmosphere for romantic photographs. We walked along the shore, talked, laughed, and simply enjoyed the moment together.

I always love photographing couples in this kind of natural environment, where there is no need for complicated poses. The connection between two people, the sea, the sunset, and genuine emotions are more than enough.

This young couple from the United States chose the beautiful Sea View by En Kipo in Stalos, near Chania — an exceptional wedding venue set on a green hillside overlooking the endless blue of the Mediterranean. I had the pleasure of being there as their wedding photographer, capturing the emotions, details and spontaneous moments throughout their celebration. I also filmed their wedding ceremony, creating a visual memory that allows them to relive those precious moments again and again.

From the anticipation before the ceremony to the emotions during the vows, every moment was filled with genuine love and happiness. The combination of the stunning location, beautiful light and Price and Hana’s connection resulted in a collection of photographs that I absolutely loved creating.

Mark chose the quiet magic of sunrise to ask Pauli the most important question of his life. As the first light appeared over the sea, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

As the late afternoon sun painted the Aegean sky in golden hues, we let the children play freely, chasing waves and running through the warm sand. Instead of stiff poses, we focused on genuine connections: giggles shared between siblings, gentle hugs from mom, and playful moments with dad.

Sometimes, a single photo shoot tells more than one story. When Stefano and Lotta traveled from Germany to the beautiful coast of Rethymno, Crete, Lotta thought she was simply stepping into a maternity session. Expecting their first child, she was excited to capture memories of her baby bump along the waves, holding the sweet ultrasound scan of their future little one against the Cretan sea.

Little did she know, Stefano had a secret plan up his sleeve.

A Maternity Shoot with a Twist

As the afternoon light softened over the Aegean Sea, we began capturing gentle, timeless moments of the glowing couple. Between laughing, walking along the shoreline, and sharing quiet moments together, Stefano saw his opportunity.
Right in the middle of our session, with the sea breeze and waves around us, he reached into his pocket, dropped to one knee, and asked Lotta to marry him.

The sheer surprise and joy on Lotta’s face were priceless. What started as a celebratory maternity shoot instantly transformed into a unforgettable proposal and love story all in one.

We arranged a cozy setting featuring soft cushions, delicate white linens, fresh red roses, local fruits, and chilled champagne ready for a celebratory toast. Every detail was tailored to blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the Cretan landscape.

The Proposal Moment

As the sun began to cast a warm golden light over the sea, Radovan led Andjela to the hidden spot. Surprised by the romantic setup, she was already moved before he even got down on one knee. When he pulled out the ring and asked her to marry him, the answer was a joyous, emotional "Yes!"

Being there to document these raw, unfiltered emotions with both photo and video is why we love what we do. From the quiet anticipation before her arrival to the celebratory champagne toast right after, every second was filled with magic.
